Heart attack causes are usually rooted by a blood clot that causes a block in the coronary artery. Those arteries carry blood and oxygen necessary for the heart function. If this isn’t getting to the heart, it starves and the heart cells deteriorate.  Vulnerable plaque can build on the walls of the arteries which is caused by cholesterol and other harmful cells. Buildup of plaque can block the artery but can be prevented by cutting out fatty and cholesterol high foods in your diet. It can also be controlled with exercise and medications that have come out to help with the prevention of these vulnerable plaques.
